Re: Covid-19 – Update

You will be undoubtedly aware of the current situation that country faces with Covid-19, we would like to take the opportunity to set out our position on the various issues that may arise.

Taking measures to reduce the spread of the virus

Please follow the following guidelines from the Government to reduce the transmission of Covid-19. For up-to-date NHS advice on reducing the spread of Covid-19, please click here.

Self-isolation

The Government is currently advising people to self-isolate if they:

  • have been advised to by medical professionals
  • are showing signs of the symptoms of Covid-19, which is a new and/or cough and high temperature
  • are living with someone that showing the symptoms of Covid-19 or has been advised to by medical professionals
  • If you develop symptoms at any time, you should call 111 and follow their advice.

Keeping us updated on travel plans

We know that some of you will have plans to travel in the near future, including pre-booked holidays. Certain countries have been identified as having been severely affected by the virus and we would ask that you consider, for your own health reasons, whether your travel is necessary. If you do travel, please let us know of the countries to be visited so that we can manage your return appropriately. Additionally, please keep yourself up to date on the countries which require self-isolation upon return.

Sending employees home

If clients are concerned that you may have been exposed to the virus even though you are not displaying symptoms, they may take the decision to send you home. We do not wish to cause any worry in sending this letter. We are monitoring any developments to the situation and will provide updates where necessary.
